Lupus Coping Corner
The Lupus Coping Corner will now be written by Amy Caron, who brings a unique perspective to the monthly column as both a professional and a lupus patient. Amy was diagnosed at age 23, and after her experiences as a patient she grew determined to help the healthcare system better serve patient needs. She earned a master’s degree in public health and now serves as Project Director for the Lupus Research Institute’s provider education initiative.
In keeping with the established monthly format, Amy will be sharing information as well as suggestions from her personal experience on coping with lupus.
The Lupus Coping Corner was previously written by social worker Jessica Rowshandel, LMSW. After working with our lupus community for over four years, Jessica has relocated to Los Angeles. We miss Jessica very much but wish her all the best in her new home!
